Our Co-chairs have a variety of experiences when it comes to organizing, hosting tournaments and participating in their respective sports. Below is a brief history of their individual involvement and accomplishments.

Bill MacMackin

– Coach Saint John High, Saint John Track Club and University of New Brunswick 
– Chair of numerous Provincial, Atlantic, National and International Meets and Championships
– Sport New Brunswick Coach of the Year 
– Saint John Community Foundation Award , for contributions to the sporting community of Saint John
– Canadian Sports Tourism Alliance Award for Sport Event Volunteer 
– Chair of the Board for Athletics Canada 
– YMCA Red Triangle Award Recipient 
– Lead for development of Irving Oil Fieldhouse 
– President of the Board Irving Oil Fieldhouse 
– Co-Founder & Co-Chair East Coast Games
– Recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Letters degree from University of New Brunswick – Saint John


Keith Raynes

– Over 30 years coaching volleyball, at the High School, Club, Senior and University levels 
– 3 time Coach of the Year ACAA 
– Former Vice President of Volleyball New Brunswick 
– Volunteer of the Year for Volleyball New Brunswick 
– Co- Chair of National Senior Volleyball Championships and CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship.
– Organizer of Provincial and Atlantic Championship events 
– Member of organizing committee for Hockey Canada’s International Coaching Conference and also the National Midget Hockey Championship Telus Cup. 
– Volunteer Service Award -City of Saint John
– Co- Founder & Co-Chair East Coast Games


Dave McPherson

– Outstanding rugby player at the high school, university and club levels and a decorated coach, at the high school (Saint John High) and Senior Rugby Club ( Saint John Trojans) Levels.
– Lead organizer of many Provincial and Atlantic Championships, as well as Eastern Canadian and International matches.
– Coach at the Canada Games 
– Rugby Canada Distinguished Service Award Recipient 
– Inducted  to the Saint John Sports Hall of Fame twice.
– Sports Director for Rugby East Coast Games 
– Rugby Sports Ambassador with Gilbert Canada
– Co-Chair East Coast Games


Kelly Lynch

– Founder of KV Girls Softball Association ( grew from 80 players to over 400 in 8 years).
– Past President of KVGSA
– Successfully launched Softball Canada’s Learn to Play Program 
– Softball New Brunswick Coach of the Year Award ( twice)
– Softball New Brunswick Volunteer of the Year Award 
– Sport New Brunswick- Spirit  of Sport Award
– Director of Softball East Coast Games

Brad Jennings
